I wrote my first story on a big, boxy computer when I was in first grade and watched wide-eyed as the clunky printer brought it to life. I still feel that same thrill today when my stories find their way to the page. I think stories of all kinds have incredible power - not the least of which is the power to take you on a journey that a piece of you never really comes back from. I hope my books will take you on some unforgettable journeys.

Santa Claus was one of them, but that's not where the story begins...
The klausen are a curious race: hardy and strong, yet always eager for winter’s first snow and a warm mug of soup. And Anders is sure he is the reason they are about to be destroyed. After all, he is the only klausen ever born without a power. So, surely, it’s his fault that their secret village has been discovered and the great flames are dying. If only he could gain magic of his own and put an end to all of this…then again, if the rumors are true, then maybe he can. But the Elders have been keeping a dangerous secret from him, and his forbidden journey is about to forever change his fate.
A fantasy adventure with a holiday twist. Perfect for fans of the Wilderlore and Percy Jackson series.

Sarah's Christmas Star
Genre: Picture Book
Audience: Children's
When her father’s sheep all get out of the pen and run away, Sarah, a poor, motherless girl, must go to Bethlehem to fetch her uncle to come help. Her father, who doesn’t like to talk about God – and doesn’t like Sarah to either - sends her off without a prayer and without much hope. But at least she has Rosy, her one little lamb, to keep her company on the journey.
Once in Bethlehem, one obstacle after another keeps Sarah from completing her mission. Discouraged, she spends the night with some shepherds in the field watching their sheep and is awoken by angels announcing the birth of the baby Savior. She goes to see Jesus and, after bonding with his tired mother, offers the young family her beloved lamb—the only thing she owns in the world.
Will her joy in knowing about Jesus, and her newfound trust that he was sent to fix things, be enough to help her get through the hard task of telling her hardened father that she has not only failed in finding her uncle, but she has also given away all the family’s money and her little lamb as well?
