Robyn Hodess always knew she’d tell stories—especially ones about children and animals. At 37, she had a dream that became the seed for I Am NOT Sophie, a story about self-discovery and self-love. It stayed in her heart for 25 years until she brought it to life in her first published book. A former graphic designer, she later found her creative voice in encaustic painting, a medium as layered and expressive as the stories she loves to tell. She lives in Park City, Utah and Narragansett, RI, with her husband of 37 years and their dog, Huey. She’s a proud mom of three, a grandmother, and a lifelong believer in the magic of being exactly who you are.
