J. Gregory Smith

J. Gregory Smith is an American author known for his compelling thrillers and mystery series. He holds a BA in English from Skidmore College and an MBA from the College of William & Mary. After early career roles in public relations across Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and Wilmington, Delaware, he turned to full-time writing. His debut novel, Final Price, debuted as a self-published work and was later reissued by Thomas & Mercer after becoming an Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award quarterfinalist in 2009. This launchpad began his popular Paul Chang Mystery series (Final Price, Legacy of the Dragon, Send in the Clowns) as well as standalone thrillers like A Noble Cause and The Flamekeepers. More recently, he started the "Reluctant Hustler" thriller series with titles including Quick Fix and Short Cut. He resides in Wilmington, Delaware, with his wife and son.
