Amanda Flower (born January 23, 1980, in Akron, Ohio) is a prolific USA Today–bestselling mystery and cozy fiction author. A three-time Agatha Award winner, she writes multiple series under her own name and the pseudonym Isabella Alan, including Amish-themed mysteries like Maid of Murder and the Andi Boggs middle-grade series. Based in Tallmadge, a suburb of Akron, Amanda draws inspiration from Ohio’s small-town culture and history—as seen in To Slip the Bonds of Earth, a historical whodunit featuring Katharine Wright. With more than 20 adult and children’s books, she’s earned acclaim for blending heart, humor, and suspense. Amanda remains active in her community, appearing frequently at Ohio libraries and events, and donates all profits from self-published editions of her Piper & Porter cozy mysteries to local cat rescue efforts.
