My Local Authors™ is a growing directory of writers across the United States, organized by state and dedicated to helping readers discover homegrown talent in every corner of the country. Whether you’re looking for your next favorite fantasy series from Utah, a heartfelt memoir out of Georgia, or a gripping thriller based in Maine, this site connects you with the authors who make each state’s literary voice unique.
This project was born out of a love for books, local communities, and the desire to support authors beyond the bestseller lists. Many featured authors are indie or small-press published, and we’re always working to add new voices.
